Maternity Photo Session

I wanted to get maternity photos done this pregnancy, but that got a bit complicated with us moving a few weeks before I was due. One of the first things I did when we got settled was find a local photographer that had availability. It was getting colder outside and our apartment here isn't photo worthy, so I wasn't sure what kind of photos we would be able to get. I knew I wanted at least a few though just to remember my bump! It would also be the last photos of us being a family of three, which I wanted to document. We ended up finding this amazing photographer Leeka who made taking pictures so comfortable. Jason and I both don't like getting our picture taken, it just seems so awkward to pose and the smiles can seem fake. Leeka made it SO easy. She literally directed us every step of the way and made it so fun. It was pretty cold that day and Everly was not into it at all, but despite all of that she still captured so many good memories for us. We had scheduled the photos for when I was 38 weeks but then it rained so we rescheduled for the next week. I was getting worried that we wouldn't get the photos if I went into labor early. Luckily I didn't and we got the photos during my 39th week. Here are a few of my favorites!
