Zara's Nursery Reveal
I have been waiting since Everly was born to decorate a nursery! We moved a few times a year for Jason's hockey career when Everly and Rosie were little so they never had a proper nursery. They literally slept in hotel closets, bathrooms, laundry rooms and spare bedrooms. Once I found out I was pregnant with Zara I knew this was my last chance to ever make a cute little nursery! I didn't get it done before she was born, but it's done now and I love it so much. I stuck with neutrals and made it a little more sophisticated so she could grow into it and love it for years!
GLIDER CHAIR
My favorite part of the room is definitely the glider chair! When Ev and Rosie were little I fed them on my bed, a couch or the floor in the middle of the night. A nursery chair felt like such a luxury that we never had the option to have. Having one with Zara was seriously so nice, and of course she was the one who slept through the night at 2 months old. I still use it though to nurse her during the day and it's so nice to have those moments with her. The chair and foot stool glide, and the chair locks into place. It's the Nelson Chair from Dufresne. This one isn't only super comfortable but also looks beautiful! Once I am done with it in the nursery I will move it out into the living room.
NAME SIGN & PICTURES
I got her name sign made by SuppliesCA on etsy, and I love the rustic look the wood gives it. He has so many different fonts and sizes to fit your space. You can use STACEY15 for 15% off your purchase! I got the three prints from Desenio. I wanted something feminine but not too childish. I decided on these three and love how they turned out! I just got the frames from the dollar store.
LIGHT FIXTURE & CURTAINS
I got the light fixture from Home Depot and the curtains from JYSK. The rod was $10 and the curtains were each $10. They were such a good price and complete the room.
RUG, MIRROR, CRIB & SHEEP
My mom gave me this sheepskin rug a few years ago and the mirror was from Jason's aunt and uncle. We got the crib as a hand-me-down when Everly was born and all three girls used it! It's white and simple and works perfectly with the space. The sheep is by rockabye and was a gift for Everly's 1st Christmas.
Best,
Stacey
