En-Suite Bathroom Renovation

When we moved into our house, it was original everything. It was in surprisingly good condition, but straight out of the 70's. We gutted the entire top floor of the house to bring everything into this century. The master bedroom had a half-bath attached, but had room to add a shower. Thanks to my husband and father-in-law who is a plumber, they made it happen! The shower ended up being a lot bigger than I thought and it is so nice having a full second bathroom. Having a second shower is so nice because the girls shower is full of toys and stuff that we were always stepping on.

Jason does tile and renovation for a living so he did our entire bathroom himself. The white marble tiled shower brightens up the room so much and I love how everything came together. We also added in-floor heat because Jason had just started tiling and wanted to practice on our house. I was fine just getting a vinyl plank for our bathroom, same as the rest of our house, but he insisted. If you tile your bathroom floors I highly recommend getting them heated. Before our in-floor heat got hooked up the tile was so cold to walk on.
